Inspire
Our Vision developed over 7 years led by a team of 4 Apple Learning Coaches: Head Teacher, class teachers, support staff and by our pupil digital leaders—ensures digital excellence is embedded school-wide. All staff are Apple Teachers and use technology to enable creativity, collaboration, and publish learning. Technology empowers and inspires all learners through international projects and our filmmaking programme; pupils use iMovie to document and reflect on real-world learning. Technology drives inclusive, purposeful experiences where every learner is a creator, problem-solver, and global communicator—fully aligned with our mission to transform learning and empower our school community.
Imagine
Collaborative experiences are planned to ensure a culture of integrating technology to bring people together namely, fortnightly Pupil Action Teams, Film Groups and extensive work with APLS staff. Learners are encouraged to discover new possibilities and solutions using 1-2-1 iPads at all levels. Within our monthly Parish community café our digital learners and ALC lead parishioners to develop their digital skills and provide hands-on coaching through the use of Everyone Can Create programmes. Our displays of knowledge, school shows and learning festivals using innovative digital technology demonstrate to our stakeholders a culture of curiosity and creativity.
Impact
We actively share the impact of our work through social media, our website, and strong partnerships with APLS staff, Glasgow University, and local Apple Stores. With 1-2-1 iPads in every class, learners confidently use accessibility features to support and enhance their learning. We run parent workshops to showcase these tools and use home–school contracts to ensure device access and equity from Primary 1–7. Our staff regularly share best practices locally and internationally, including with the Apple Education team, demonstrating our commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and innovation within and beyond our learning community.
